A new call center for police reports and installment of security cameras in shops, is the latest step the police are taking to ensure the safety of the citizens of Los Santos.
With a recent increase in car accidents due to reckless driving and excessive speeding, the LSPD has been granted funding to open a new call center, where local citizens can call in any vehicles that are driving dangerously and pose a danger to others.
In new interviews done with locals, 84% of locals asked said they are happy the police are taking a special interest in speeding and reckless driving, 10% said they are indifferent, while 6% said they believe it is another ploy from the police to hand out more unfair tickets.
And in an attempt to at the same time keep shop owners and the amount of shoplifting and robbery attempts to a minimum, the city council has put aside money to install brand new security cameras in all stores that accept the offer, with hopes to provide more safety to business owners and their customers.
If any of these new measures in security will deter criminals and reckless drivers remains to be seen, but spokespeople from the LSPD say that the new tools will improve the safety of the city.
