Amid the raging incarceration epidemic, Bolingbroke Penitentiary announce several new projects.
With a raging incarceration epidemic, Bolingbroke Penitentiary has announced several new projects for the welfare of their prisoners.
After recent complaints and health issues pertaining to the lack of variety and healthy food options for the inmates at Bolingbroke Penitentiary, a new government project has been announced to ope
n a new cafeteria where the prisoners can get healthier food and water. The specific variety of the foods that will be available is still unknown, but government officials say that it will fit the standard of recommended nutrition set by leading health experts. If they will make good on their promises remains to be seen.
And further following the recent increase in prison fights, it has been decided to let the inmates out into a brand new yard and offer them work to let them work out their pent up energy and frustrations. In working, it is possible for the inmates to reduce their jail time and at the same time work for the good of the state.
The expansions also brings in a new laundry room and workout room.
If any of these initiatives are going to improve the living conditions of the inmates at Bolingbroke Penitentiary remains to be seen, but at least it seems that a light has been shone on the problems.
